I Am Focused

Today I have learned something
I payed attention and I didn't at all
I looked around
And I saw love telling me hi
I looked behind me
And there was freedom
Asking for permission
I made it a vow
And said "You're welcome"
It hold my heart
And kissed my mind
It said that we could all
Live together

I saw love today
I heard its silence and music
I witnessed hope today
And I felt grateful many times

I will listen to the stars tonight
I will focus on the good

They shine so bright...
And there are millions of them
We can all shine
We can be millions too

It hurts a little when you feel that the person you love does not appreciate you as you would like to, as you appreciate him. Who am I kidding; it hurts a lot, it feels like you have a hole in your heart, it feels like someone just shot you through it, and it takes a lot of strength to just try  to feel good.
